So on one of my side street detours to get around Seattle traffic, I ran into what looks like a factory VW Caddy Double Cab. Now, I can't find anything that says they actually did these from the factory. I haven't gotten up close and personal with it yet (as Grimace has sucked up my car budget for now), but I was wondering if they actually made that in any market.

There's also a Fiat (maybe a 124) parked next to it.

I've been bugging the wife about getting a truck for household stuff (like picking up stuff from Home Depot, etc). This would be awesome if I could get it.

That just looks like a rabbit caddy with a cap to me. I am unaware if they, or why they would ever do such a thing. Ill take the Fiat

It's definately the size of a 4 door and it does have a cap on it, but I didn't see rear door handles or anything on it.

They both look like they've been sitting for a while.

yeah I see it now, are there any other angles? Could be a yota 2wd too, hard to tell without the rabbit grille

I pulled that from Google Maps. The only time I stopped, I didn't get a pic either. I know it's not a Toyota. The body lines are all Rabbit/Caddy, but it's just odd that it's a "double cab".
